‘Runway not in sight’: Pawar's final moments
Summary
A routine flight turned tragic at Baramati airfield. The aircraft lost sight of Runway 11 during landing. A go-around was initiated. Despite reporting the runway in sight, the aircraft crashed near the threshold. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and four others perished. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is investigating the incident.
